When our nanny called out this morning, I started to panic since we both had in-person meetings to attend at work today… then remembered FAST and quickly solved our problem!!

We just started using it and already love it. The creator of the app is responsive and so willing to help and you can tell she really cares about the services. She takes vetting each sitter very seriously so i feel comfortable booking with anyone on there. I was nervous at first not knowing the person who was coming to watch my kiddos but they vet sitters better than I can vet them honestly with the background checks and interviews they do! Couldn’t recommend this app more!

FAST is the best! The founders are unbelievably communicative and overall just amazing. The sitters have all been incredibly professional, kind, safe, and responsive. We have used FAST over 15 times to cover for school closures, work events, and date nights, and we are grateful to have this service nearby. It’s given us a "village" of safe, reliable childcare.

Leaving your baby with a new person is scary—but I was so impressed by the quality of caretakers FAST provides, and the high touch customer service from the head of the company. The app is solid-feature to “favorite” a sitter you love and only reach out to them for a new booking is absolutely clutch.

This app is brilliant. Nothing like being in a jam with no regular sitter and no family members to jump in and help when you have a last minute work commitment! We had the app up and running in no time and a FAST sitter was there when we needed her!

We used them last weekend when our normal sitters were not available. The whole process was seamless, I loved booking through the app with verified sitters, fully vetted with background checks, you can choose any preferences (like non smoker, CPR training), you can pay with Apple Pay, message the sitter you are matched with and share any details about your family, kids etc. Just so so easy and I am so grateful as a mom who doesn’t have a huge Rolodex of people I can count on that I know have this resource!

I wanted to share that we’ve used FAST a few times over the last two weeks as we have truly been in a bind. We had one great young woman last week and then another terrific young woman sign up for 2 different shifts today when things really took a turn. We then mutually agreed for her to accept my post for tomorrow. While I’ve been home each time, I do think I could have left the kids reliably in the hands of both women. I wanted to share so that other people may feel comfortable trying it out too. I know it’s a lot to try and find last minute care but FAST has really helped us out.

Best app ever!

I use this app for 90% of my babysitting needs now, having only been introduced to it over the summer. In addition to echoing the sentiments above (sitters have been great, thoroughly vetted, etc), all of my favorite sitters being on it means that’s it’s effectively managing my “roster” vs me texting them all one by one to see if they’re free. The ability to pay via cc/debit/Apple Pay automatically also takes the logistics of finding cash, checkbook or remembering to Venmo after my kids are back in my care out of the equation. While this is obviously secondary to the caretakers on app, it still is a nice benefit! Plus, the co founders are a local family – they care a lot about the families they’ve built the app for. It’s not some soulless corporation, it’s a mom and dad, which somehow makes me feel a lot better!
