Sitters must schedule an interview and show up. Attending the interview is the first required step in our screening process.

From showing up for an interview to a background check managed by FAST, here’s how we screen our sitters.
Meet with us face to face
We interview sitters face to face and go over their childcare experience. This gives our team an opportunity to learn about the person behind the application.
Work through scenario-based questions
We ask multiple scenario-based questions developed by a Doctor of Psychology and an M.Ed. in Special Education, bringing a combined six decades of knowledge to the process. These questions help us assess how a sitter would handle different childcare situations and the approach they would take.
Complete a FAST-managed background check
Only after a sitter passes the interview and scenario-based assessment do we send them a background check. FAST pays for the check and fully controls the background-check process.
