We’re a family of 5, both with full time careers and, as it turns out, society makes it incredibly difficult to work full-time and be full time parents. We were tired of the last minute daycare calls to pick up a sick child, or a sitter bailing on the job, moments before its start time. You can’t do that to full-time working parents. We were stressed and needed help.
There HAD to be a better, more efficient way to bring trusted childcare to working families. And, we were hell-bent on finding it.
So, when the unexpected happens with our childcare plans (and it always happens), what if there was an Uber-like service for trusted sitters in our pocket? What if we could simply PIVOT instead of PANIC?
When we couldn’t find an ASAP frictionless app up to our standards we decided to build it ourselves – introducing FAST, an on-demand childcare solution made BY parents, FOR parents. And, at the tap of a button, a smiling, trustworthy, and highly capable sitter can show up at your door.
Best of all? Parents enjoy peace of mind knowing that each sitter has already been thoroughly vetted, background checked, and interviewed by US – the parents of three littles – and we wouldn’t offer them to you unless we would bring them into our own home.
We sincerely hope that this platform brings some sort of alleviation to busy families like yours
